When install Super Volvo Vida Dice Pro+ 2014 patch, some users may get an error message says that “tskill.exe is not recognized as an internal or external command or operable program or batch file”. When click “Vida all” icon the interface will turn to a blank page. Soon there is another new prompt “The comment below contains SFX script commands” (see following picture)

How VVDI MB BGA tool renew EIS and replace ESL for Mercedes Benz?

In general, Benz electric steering locks (ESL) are used with EIS W204/ W207/ W212. ESL is damaged in high frequency. In this case, there are two possible reasons and solutions:

  1. If the ESL motor is damaged, replace a new motor.
  2. If the NEC chip of ESL is locked, renew EIS then replace ESL.

How to tell if the ESL motor is damaged or NEC chip is locked?

Open VVDI MB tool software. Click “Check ESL damage status”.

 

  1. If it shows ESL works normally, generally it means the EIS motor is damaged and you need a new one.

How to replace ESL with VVDI MB BGA Tool?

Step1. To replace ESL, you need renew EIS at first, then re-write EIS and personalize ESL, in this way ESL is synchronized. To renew EIS, both key password and erase password are required.

Note: if you do not renew ESL first, but only personalize ESL, the ESL won’t be synchronized.

  • Get key password. You can increase key to get it.

Use VVDI MB NEC Key Adaptor to work with VVDI MB BGA tool to get key password.

 

  • Get erase password. In general, we can get the password directly with VVDI MB tool online calculation from server.
  • After input the two passwords choose “Infrared” as EIS communication way, then click “save EIS data”, Click "Renew EIS".

 

Step2.

  • Now the EIS is full new, click “load EIS data”, click “Infrared” as communication way to enter new EIS data.
  • Click “OBD” as communication way to enter VIN.

 

Step3. Click “Personalize W204 ESL”

 

Step4.

After above steps, all EIS and ESL status checkboxes will be tick except the “Activated” checkbox. Insert the original car key hen EIS and ESL is activated. Now you use VVDI MB tool to renew ESL successfully.

 

Note:

It’s hard to buy Mercedes W204/207 EIS and they are expensive. If you have W204/ 207 all key lost, you can use W212 EIS for replacement.

BMW multi tool v7.7 is good at key programming for BMW CAS1 CAS2 CAS3 CAS3+ CAS4 before 2014 via OBD2 port. Here, share an instruction on how to prepare and make dealer key with BMW Multi Tool. Hopes it helps.

Before all, please make sure of all the connections in a correct way

 

  1. On the BMW multi tool interface, choose "Connect" to auto detect the current car protocol and get the CAS info.
  1. choose "Read EEPROM" to read the CAS EEPROM file and save it.
  1. choose "Key Learn" to get key learn interface.
  1. choose "Get Key Info" to get the key info stored in CAS system.

 

  1. Choose "Save Key Info" to save the read key info for backup.
  1. Check the connection between BMW multi tool programmer and device. Keep connection while make key process.
  1. Put new blank key into the center of programmer.
  1. Choose the position where you want to suit the key.
  1. Press "Make Dealer Key" to prepare dealer key. After succeed you will get

 

"Key make okay and locked. Please use it start the car. If can’t start engine,

use "Add Key" function add the new dealer key to CAS system." Once can start

the engine, go to step 13.

  1. Put the new dealer key into bmw multi tool v7.7. Use "Add Key" function to add the key to CAS system. After that you will get "New dealer key success written to CAS system. You can start engine with the new key now.

 

If can’t please use the original working key first."

  1. Please return to main widow and use function "Synch DME-CAS" to synchronize DME (ECU) with CAS.
  1. Use "Synch CAS-ELV" to clear wheel errors.
  1. Enter to key learn window use "Clear DTC" and "Clear Shadow" function

clear all error sin CAS system.

Note:

The dealer key should be taken away from ignition switch

If key is keyless, please move it out of the car

Press OK to continue

 

If you get the message when preparing dealer key, just follow the instruction.
